Africa Innovative Development is a nonprofit focusing on innovative and sustainable development. We believe that children should be given a chance to have a brighter future by empowering parents to fulfill their needs by implementing innovative and sustainable projects driven by research data and analytics looking at local. We want to impulse sustainable development by working on serval domains, including public health ( Malaria, HIV/TB, Maternal and Child Health, Key Populations’ health, nutrition, etc..) Agriculture, gender equality, social justice, equity, democracy, governance, social justice, and cultural inclusion.
What We are looking for
We are looking for a Project coordinator serving as a Local Representatives of AID Think Tank in the following locations: Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, Burkina-Faso, Cameroun, Guinee, Gabon, Congo, RDC, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Serra-Lione, the Gambia to participate in innovative, collaborative, and sustainable ways to approach local development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the AID TT Executive team to ensure the participation of cross-functional stakeholders in furthering project goals. With organization and prioritization skills, this candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Work with AID TT Executive team to develop, drive, and implement project goals.
- Manage communications and deliverables from all stakeholders for the project
- Track project accomplishments
- Establish partnerships cross-functionally as necessary to ensure project success
ELIGIBILITY
– Individuals managing/leading/owning a local legal association or nonprofit working on Education, Public health, gender equality, agriculture, social justice, cultural inclusion, democracy, and peace, Governance.
- The association/nonprofit should be committed to meeting UN Sustainable development goals.
- The association/nonprofit should have been implementing local projects within underserved communities for a minimum of 5 years.
- The Representative should be familiar with project management cycle steps (Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting)
- The Representative should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree (High School Degree + 3/4 years of higher education) in social sciences and other relevant disciplines + a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience.
- A Representative with a Mater Degree and Above will have a plus.
- A Representative knowing USAID and the United Nations Procedures will have a plus.
- A Representative having Knowledge of RFP and bilingual (English + French) would have a plus.
Other Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
