Africa Innovative development (AID) is a Think Tank focused on the collection, analysis and dissemination of data necessary for better planning of sustainable development projects. The think tank is a consortium with about fifty representatives and experts in four regions of the world, including Africa, North America, and Asia and a headquarters in the United States. This innovative initiative was created to bridge the gap between projects implemented in developing countries in the real needs of recipient populations. One of the reasons for this gap is the lack of real data to inform the strategic planning of organizations involved in the implementation of development projects in developing countries. For sustainable impact, development projects should be based on the needs identified through data collection and analysis in order to reflect the real needs of the recipient populations. The think tank’s mission is, on the one hand, to help organizations working in international development to collect, analyze and better use them for their strategic planning, and on the other hand, to help governments collect the data needed to drive public policy development.
